to wonder
I never even thought
as the day begins
all keeps passing by
as the day moves on
and things are
out of your way
for now all remains
all so far away
let the day
keep passing you by
but your time and your time alone
remains completely still
as the day keeps
passing by
yet the day is truly
not yours
let this for now remain
as the day where time was still
and nothing
really remained
but the watching over
of other lives
as the day keeps passing by
you know how all remains
as you listen
and for now only observe
some day
and not today
it will be your day
once again
